  • What should I bring to class?
    - Journal (or something you can write with, your phone will even work) - Water! Super important to stay hydrated. - Hip scarf (not required, I wear mine sometimes and sometimes I don't so it's totally up to you) - A towel (recommended) - Comfortable clothes a must! There is no requirement to show your belly etc just come comfortable and ready to dance!
  • If I miss a class will I get credited?
    Courses: NO Courses are created in a way where the dance moves are built upon in succession therefore coming to each class is highly encouraged. Courses are also created to help you get a discount on the classes, therefore no shows will not be credited. If you know you won’t be able to make all the classes please let me know before you buy the course so I can create a personal package for you! No other exceptions will be considered. Drop ins are always welcome! Technique: YES Technique is set up in a way to give you more flexibility. Buy a bundle and use your class credits whenever you want within the timeframe indicated! Technique classes can only be taken after the Intro course. Technique classes hone the skills that you learn in the intro course and will help you expand your belly dance move repertoire but it is not successive. Intensives: NO Intensives are created in a way where the dance moves are built upon in succession in a short amount of time. They are created only on occasion and are unique to that specific intensive. Because of the time and cost of instructing them they are non-refundable. Drop ins are always welcome! If you know you won’t be able to make all the classes please let me know before you buy the course so I can create a personal package for you! No other exception will be considered. Drop ins are always welcome! Drop ins: NO Drop ins are created so that you do not have to commit to a full course or intensive and are therefore non refundable
  • Do you record in person classes?
    No I don't typically record the lessons but I do not mind if you record me or yourself during the session! I just ask that if you take pictures etc you write a review and add them to my google reviews page :)
  • Is belly dance for me?
    Thats up for you to decide! But if you're worried about being judged etc don't! I do my absolute best to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that your belly dance experience is full of joy and laughter!
  • Do you do private classes?
    Yes I do! Please refer to my "privates" tab for more info.
  • How early should I come to class?
    5 minutes is fine!
  • Are there performance oppurtunites?
    Yes, after taking the introduction course and consistently going to technique class, I will open up performance oppurtunities for you!
  • Do you do private events/parties?
    Yes I do! I have a variety of packages for you to choose from or we can make a custom package for your needs and wants. Email me for more info!
  • Can I belly dance while pregnant?
    Yes! Fun fact: belly dance began as a ritual for child birth preperation. So it is an excellent activity for toning the muscles used in childbirth. If you have any concerns though, please consult your doctor.
  • Are there health benefits to belly dancing?
    YES! -Back and join pain relief -tones muscles -Bone density increase -low impact form of exercise -helps in weight lose -increases balance and posture -helps child birth preparation -reduces stress levels -boosts self confidence -helps relieve PMS symptoms -compatible with all life stages/ages
